Account book, 1800-1829.

This account book is a record of transactions of Dyer's shoemaking and tanning business covering the period 1800 to 1829. Entries are listed under individual customers, who paid for services with cash, foodstuffs, and animal hides. On the last page of the account book is a long poem on death; on the inside of the back cover are listed death dates of Dyer's grandparents. There are many newspaper clippings about farming techniques.
